Hi Aileen and Sarkie, My hubby;s OWP expired on Sept 25, 2024 and his OWP was refused. Correct me if I'm wrong po. He has 90 days to apply for restoration of status right? His work was a skilled job (CNC Machine Operator). Now comes the complicated part, last September 6, 2024 na laid off siya sa work (downsizing coz of slow down). Will this affect. My wife will apply for student visa to get her masters in Canada which includes bringing the husband and the child as per what the agency told us. Our situation will be, she goes to her studies and work afterwards AND I am granted with working permit, thus, I need to work as well so that we could pay for the expenses. And our problem is how to balance it if bringing a 1 yr old baby, not knowing what might happen to us when we get there. I wanna ask for a tip or maybe a story from your experience on how to cope up such challenges like what should we do, what should we expect or maybe how to handle it
